Fine Big Pink Sapphire 8.64ct SYNTH
A large, beautifully colored and sparkling pink Sapphire. The stone is synthetic, i.e. not natural stone. Included is a certificate from the well-known GGL laboratory, which claims the stone as genuine natural stone, the certificate is fake. A typical eBay "jewel", where a large number of sellers sell synthetic stones, or even imitations as genuine natural stones.
Still, great color, great stone. Real sapphire (the pink version of the corundum mineral), but synthetic. You get the certificate with you, but partially destroyed so that it cannot be used for wrong purposes.
Weight: 8.64ct
Mitat: 10.94 x 10.28 x 6.80mm

Unfortunately, eBay and other online stores, including huuto.net, are full of such stones that are completely fraudulently claimed to be natural stones. And in the worst cases, even these "certificates" that look believable to the layman are included, in which the name of the laboratory is forged, very closely resembling a well-known and respected Indian laboratory, which however has nothing to do with this certificate.
This as a warning to those interested in stones. The stone itself is great, but it's good to understand that the value of a synthetic stone is only a fraction of a real ruby. And that "certificates" in general are only worth as much as the esteem/trust of their author. As a genuine natural ruby, this stone would be worth thousands of euros.
Light/bright spots that may appear in the pictures are usually internal and external light reflections.
